Jodie Cohen, PhD
Pediatric Neuropsychologist
Jodie Cohen, PhD, is a licensed psychologist and pediatric neuropsychologist specializing in the assessment and treatment planning for school age children, adolescents and young adults. Dr. Cohen received her PhD from Fordham University in New York, receiving advanced training at the New York University Child Study Center and Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of New York Presbyterian. Dr. Cohen then completed a psychology internship accredited by the American Psychological Association at Warm Springs Counseling Center and Training Institute in Boise, Idaho with concentrations in pediatric neuropsychology, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and child & family therapy. She completed a two year post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Northwest Neurobehavioral Health in Idaho. Dr. Cohen stayed on as a staff neuropsychologist, member of the National Health Service Corps, and adjunct faculty at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. Dr Cohen is an active member of the National Academy of Neuropsychology and The New York State Association of Neuropsychology.
Dr. Cohen began her career as a certified school psychologist with employment experience in public schools. She has participated as a member and chair of numerous special education and 504 Plan meetings and is well versed in educational law and procedures. Dr. Cohen has considerable experience as a private consultant to school districts where she provides in-service training to educators around identification and management of Autism Spectrum Disorders. Dr. Cohen is uniquely qualified to bridge the school, home, and community settings in order to deliver the highest quality, evidence-based services to families.
Dr. Cohen lives in New York state with her husband and two young sons. She is committed to providing compassionate and personalized care to help you and your child.

Bryant Sigler, PsyD
Post-Doctoral Fellow in Pediatric Neuropsychology
Bryant Sigler, PsyD, is completing a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology under the supervision of Dr. Cohen. Dr. Sigler earned his PsyD in clinical psychology, with a focus in neuropsychology, from The Chicago School. He completed an APA-accredited doctoral internship in pediatric neuropsychology at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital, an affiliate of Johns Hopkins Medicine, where he worked with children, adolescents, and young adults with a wide range of complex medical conditions, neurodevelopmental differences, and neuropsychological disorders. He has received advanced clinical training in his areas of clinical interest, including Autism, ADHD, language and learning disorders, acute brain injury, learning disabilities, as well as anxiety and other emotional vulnerabilities.
Dr. Sigler currently conducts comprehensive evaluations with children through young adults who may be experiencing difficulties with attention and executive functioning, emotional and behavioral regulation, academics, and/or social functioning. He values building relationships with his clients, their families, and their surrounding support networks, including schools and therapeutic providers. This allows him to obtain a thorough understanding of his client’s strengths, interests, and challenge areas to provide a comprehensive and actionable diagnostic picture and recommendations.

Kathleen Durivage, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Kathleen "Kathy" Durivage is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience working with children. She specializes in ages 9 through young adulthood. For the past 20 years, Kathy has worked in a local public middle school helping students that struggled with various developmental challenges such as social difficulties, anxiety, depression, ADHD, problem solving, and difficulties with coping and emotional regulation. Prior to working as a school social worker, Kathy worked in residential care in both Albany and Rennselear Counties. She provided individual and group counseling to youths that struggled with extreme behavioral and mental health difficulties.
Kathy utilizes Solution Focused, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness strategies to help young clients to increase self-awareness, gain more confidence, and ultimately improve coping and problem-solving skills in general. Kathy will explore the youth's motivations, personal goals in counseling and will collaborate with them and their families in the treatment planning process.
Kathy has been living in Delmar for the past 19 years with her family. She is excited to change gears in her career and provide individualized mental health care to our young community members in need.

Lisa Suarez, M.S.
Client Intake Coordinator
Lisa Suarez is a retired middle school counselor with over 30 years of experience working with adolescents and their families. Lisa is skilled at answering questions about our services and helping families with the intake process. When Lisa started her retirement, she realized she was missing helping people navigate how to access resources in the community. As the intake coordinator, Lisa is usually the first point of contact for new clients and families and keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes of Empire Neuro. Lisa lives in Voorheesville with her wife, dog and cat. Her adult daughters are a huge part of her life as well. She enjoys connecting with people and has always been told she is a helpful listener.
